Ice House Fitness offers free Nutrition Coaching

One night of simple nutrition training can change your life for the better! The Ice House 24 -hour Fitness Center is hosting free nutrition seminar in April to teach people how to choose the right things to eat. Nothing is being sold at the seminar and attendees get a free access to the Ice House online nutrition training and grading system. The Ice House Nutrition program lets you eat any foods but it tells you how little or how much you body needs and how mych you are giving it. Ice House Nutrition even gives you a shopping list to aid you on your tri tp the grocery store. It is easy to et right when you know how to do it. Bixby Residents Receive Home Repair Assistance

New Beginnings Church at 151st and Yale Ave prepare for aother Bixby, OK community outreach to help low income families with needed home repair. Goodbye to the nasty ditch

Drainage improvements to the downtown Bixby OK area have removed several eyesores and improved safety. One such area is the ditch surrounding Charley Young Park which used to require a small bridge to get from the street to the park on two sides.

Lee Snider Field Gets a New Turf

Bixby High School is replacing the old grass turf at Lee Snider Field - a fitting change as the Bixby Spartan football team has become a force to contend with in recent years as the Bixby, OK area continues to grow into one of Oklahoma's most populay communities.

Basketball, a Language of Love

Bixby United Methodist church will host a fund raiser dinner to support the mission effort in China; China Basketball Camp - Basketball with a Mission. In conjunction with Hearts and Hands International, Terry West will lead a group to China to host their second annual Basketball Camp.

Special Guests will include Ken Hayes, Jack Dobbins, J.V. Haney, Ted Owens, and Jim King. Chris Lincoln will be the MC for the event.

The dinner will take place April 6th, at 6pm at the First united Methodist Church located at 15502 South Memorial Drive in Bixby.
